Event: BACC-GA 2006 Annual Membership Meeting and Elections - 06/14/2006
Description: This meeting is open for members only. We are pleased to announce the BACC-GA 2006 Annual Membership Meeting and Election of the Board of Directors, followed by a brief Board Meeting to elect Officers. The Meeting and election will be held on Wednesday, June 14, at 5:00 pm at Miller & Martin, LLC. 1170 Peachtree Street, Suite 800, Atlanta, GA 30309. As you may recall, our Bylaws provide for staggered 2-year terms on our Board to provide for both continuity and regular rotation of our Board members. We are now accepting nominations to fill several seats which are becoming vacant by rotation for the 2005-06 terms. All members in good standing of the BACC-GA are eligible to nominate themselves or one or more other members in good standing to serve on the Board, and may cast one vote for each open position on the Board at the election. This is a great time to consider renewing your membership or joining BACC-GA for the first time. We have a great group of volunteers who represent key companies headquartered in Atlanta. They have been working very hard to promote Brazil as a key partner for US trade in the Southeast. As a member you will benefit from innumerous opportunities to network and develop your business further. Location: Miller & Martin, LLC. 1170 Peachtree Street, Suite 800 Atlanta, GA 30309. From the Downtown Connector (I-75S / I-85S): take the 10th and 14th Streets Exit. Proceed east on 14th Street. Follow 14th Street past Spring Street and West Peachtree Street. Turn right onto Crescent Avenue and take your next immediate right into the parking deck. Visitor parking is available on the first two levels of the parking deck. The Miller & Martin lobby is located on the Eighth Floor of The Proscenium, located at the corner of Peachtree and 14th Streets. If you are arriving after 6:00 check in at building lobby security and tell them your name and that you are attending this meeting and they will clear you through.
